Deep Diving

– Deep Diving is described as any diving deeper than 66 feet. The PENDIVE Deep Dive program recognizes that other than bottom time limitations, the single most critical thing about Deep Diving is understanding buoyancy. In order to get a working knowledge of buoyancy at depth, we do a three dive profile, spread over three days. First dive is to approx 60', second is to approx 80' and the final dive is between 100' and 120'. All three dives concentrate on the issues of buoyancy, how fast it changes, and how much air you need to accommodate the buoyancy issues.

Deep Dive courses normally include other AOWD subjects, basic scuba skills review, and classroom time.
